2013 NEC Baseball Tournament: G4 - #2 Sacred Heart 8, #4 LIU Brooklyn 7
Two-time defending champion Sacred Heart booked a return ticket to the championship round with an 8-7 win over fourth-seeded LIU Brooklyn at the 2013 NEC Baseball Championships on a cold and wet Friday night at FirstEnergy Park in Lakewood, N.J. The Blackbirds rallied for four runs in the bottom of the ninth inning and had the tying run on board when the final out was registered. Sacred Heart has now won eight straight NEC tourney games.
